Built in Competition,
Proven in Business
Before business, I was an athlete. I played competitive soccer for eight years — and through high school, earned varsity placement all four years and was awarded Offensive MVP my senior year.
That experience shaped how I think. You don't argue with the scoreboard. You don't win on effort alone. You improve by measuring what matters.
"At the time, I didn't fully appreciate statistics — I just played the game. In business, I learned the hard lesson early: if you don't track performance, you're guessing."
I earned my B.A. in International Business from UC San Diego, where I learned how markets, systems, and incentives actually work — not just in theory, but in practice. But education didn't make me an operator. Execution did.
